Jeremy is a CEDR accredited mediator and a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. He has over 20 years' experience in the insolvency and restructuring field, gained whilst working at KPMG and Kroll.
Jeremy is a member of the IPA, a Fellow of R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals, as well as being a CEDR certified mediator. He was the Croydon Chairman of the FSB - the Federation of Small Business for over five years and has recently been involved with the Bishop of Croydon's Opportunity & Fairness Commission.
Jeremy has experience in a broad range of sectors. His strengths lie in providing strategic advice to under-performing businesses, advising both companies and their stakeholders. He is experienced in advising all sizes and nature of companies, ranging from smaller owner - managed businesses to large multi-franchise operations and professional practices.
Jeremy's passion is in saving small businesses. He works within the framework of current legislation and his starting point is the survival of a business and the continued income stream of the business owner/manager.
He advises on business wind-downs and managed exits, specifically Members' Voluntary Liquidations, and assists his clients with turnaround, debt and corporate restructuring or refinancing.
As a liquidator, Jeremy is routinely involved in complex litigation and will deliver support whether contentious or out of court and whether involving solvent or insolvent entities.
As a CEDR accredited mediator, Jeremy brings together all his skills to find resolution, particularly in contentious, commercial and debt-related cases, working throughout the UK.
He is, at heart a problem solver and understands the challenges and issues of business owners and individuals alike and looks to mediate and find mutual terms of settlement, by looking beyond legal argument to commercial and practical issues, as well as the interests and needs of all parties involved.
Pragmatic and commercial and an expert in negotiation. He will also use his robust litigation skills to achieve benefit for his clients.
